The personal information protection is at the core of our company.

Founded in 2018 by Martin Staal Boesgaard (M.Sc.), a seasoned expert in cryptography and information security, PII Guard is today a leading company dedicated to addressing the privacy challenges of protecting data.

Motivated by the complexities and time-consuming nature of accessing production data for various purposes such as testing, statistics, and AI training, Boesgaard embarked on a mission in 2016 to develop solutions that safeguard sensitive information, particularly Personally Identifiable Information (PII). With his background in cryptography, Boesgaard explored cryptographic solutions and identified Type-Preserving Encryption (TPE) as a promising approach. Two patents has been issued.

Subsequently, Boesgaard joined forces with other experts to elevate his technology, products, and the company to new heights.

PII Guard has evolved into a robust company, servicing numerous of prominent customers fostering valuable partnerships.
